• 

  Step 1: This walk starts at Portsmouth & Southsea Train Station. Exit the station and turn left to walk under the railway bridge.

• 

  Step 2: Walk under the railway bridge and cross diagonally over towards the right by Costa.

• 

  Step 3: Make your way towards the black large Civic Centre and then cross over Isambard Brunel Road.

• Step 4: Make your way under the civic building. There are public toilets on your left as you pass through.

• 

  Step 5: On your right you’ll see The Guildhall. Enjoy this car-free pedestrianised area for a bit.

• 

  Step 6: Continue ahead and then bear left up the steps towards the public library. You can’t miss the great brutalist building.
