• 

  Step 1: The walk starts in Treknow on Treknow Lane by the public footpath sign. There is no pavement along here.

• 

  Step 2: With the sign behind you, turn right and walk along the lane until you reach the steps on the left. Head up them and onto the footpath.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right onto Trelake Lane. There is no pavement here.

• 

  Step 4: Keep going as you leave the village and walk along the country lane with hedges on either side.

• 

  Step 5: About 2/3 the way along, turn right and head over a stile to enter a paddock. Horses are kept here so ensure dogs are on short leads.

• 

  Step 6: Cross the field diagonally to the left down the hill towards the woods.
