• Step 1: Gamla stan, ”Old Town”, is one of Europe’s most preserved and large medieval centers. This is where Sweden’s capital was created way back in the 1200’s.

• Step 2: Now, the area is filled with tourists and exclusive housing and attractions, but earlier in history Gamla Stan was filled with the absolute poorest residents and a distinct odor from fish and garbage.

  Step 3: Now it’s really pretty with it’s narrow alleys and Historic buildings ⛪️

  Step 4: The bottom parts of the houses usually holds restaurants and storefronts, the to parts is usually exclusive office spaces or amazing homes.

  Step 5: The cobbled stones runs through the entire area, so lift your feet and watch where you’re stepping.
