Walk preview

1. 

   Step 1: The walk starts on Kettle Bridge lane by the car park (which has a donation box, suggested £1 donation early 2025). Turn left.

2. 

   Step 2: Walk over the stone & flint bridge which crosses the Cerne. You may have noticed the dam and large flood storage reservoir to your left.

3. 

   Step 3: The Kettle Bridge was built to carry carts to and from the barn located right ahead. Turn left by this dwelling.

4. 

   Step 4: Follow the track to the right and stay right at the fork. You'll be heading uphill on a loose surface.

5. 

   Step 5: It's a gentle climb under trees. Enjoy the dappled light if you're walking in clear conditions.

6. 

   Step 6: Pass through the wooden gate.
