  Step 1: Make your way to St Christophe des Bardes, 2km from Saint Emilion on the D243. You’ll see the school on your right as you arrive.

• 

  Step 2: Park right opposite the school. That’s Château St Christophe in the background. On foot, turn left at the roundabout.

• 

  Step 3: You’ll soon spot the one and only épicerie, or grocery shop, on your left.

• 

  Step 4: A glimpse of the 12th century village church on your left just after after the grocery store.

• 

  Step 5: Now look out for this house on your right - hardly 5 min. after leaving the car park. Turn right into the lane between it and the bungalow.

• 

  Step 6: Here’s a view of the lane as you turn right. A large hangar on the right, vineyards on the left.
