  Step 1: Just the car park, not great to look at, but nice to know. From the car head for the gap in the dunes just to the right of the ice creams...

• 

  Step 2: Head along the narrow path through the dunes, it soon opens out to views of the castle. Just keep heading on in the same direction.

• 

  Step 3: You're heading for the next gap in the dunes, another spot by the gate to catch a view of the castle. Keep on going.

• 

  Step 4: Once through the dunes you arrive at the beach near these rocks, it's often quiet, always wonderful. Turn left and head towards the castle.

• 

  Step 5: Evenings here are special. The sun sets beyond stag rock in the distance, and it's great for a paddle!

• 

  Step 6: Once you reach the end of the castle, turn left, there's a path up through the dunes to the right of the final turret.
