• Step 2: If you come by car, there’s no designated parking in Shutford (OX16 6PG) so please park considerately.

• 

  Step 3: You’ll be starting this walk outside the George and Dragon pub.

• 

  Step 4: Head up Church Lane admiring the thatched cottages as you go.

• 

  Step 5: Pass through the pedestrian gate and bear left, following the footpath (not the bridleway) across Manor Field towards a stile.

• 

  Step 6: Look back to see the Manor House behind you.
