  Step 1: You can walk down from Seaham or park at Nose’s Point.

• 

  Step 2: Walk with the coast to your left, past the car park. This route sticks to the cliffs rather than going down to the sea.

• 

  Step 3: A viewpoint will come up on the left, or follow the path round to the right.

• 

  Step 4: Crossover a little bridge and then carry on walking with the coast to your left.

• 

  Step 5: You’ll come to an entrance for Blast Beach.

• 

  Step 6: Large portions of this route go alongside the Sunderland to Hartlepool railway line. The viaducts and crossings help punctuate the trip.
