  Step 1: The walk starts at the paid for car park off Burton Road: DE12 8JX. A bus stop is nearby. Leave the car park through a caged log sculpture.

• Step 2: Just past the car park is a café where you may wish to grab refreshments before heading off. As well as toilets, accessible toilets and mobility scooters for hire.

• 

  Step 3: Take the gap through the fence and keep left.

• 

  Step 4: Take the flat gravel path to the left.

• 

  Step 5: The gravel path winds its way through the trees.

• 

  Step 6: Pass play park equipment on your right and follow the path sharp left.
