Step 1: Parc Cerf Onn has a car park (CF14 0EP). Lisvane Thornhill train station is also nearby. The toilets with baby change are just here too.
Step 2: When we visited in Aug ‘22 there were signs reporting blue/green algae in the water which can make dogs poorly. Always follow local signage. When you’re ready walk under the M4 underpass and into the wooded area.
Step 3: Continue ahead along the tarmac path.
Step 4: Continue ahead as you’re welcomed by a tunnel of trees and the sound of the M4 getting quieter as you walk.
Step 5: Keep left at the path junction.
Step 6: Take note of nature. It can bring about real benefits to your physical and mental wellbeing.
