  Step 1: We parked north of the village in the parking by Església de Sant Esteve de Peratallada. It’s free out of season. Head towards the moat 👍🏻

• Step 2: The moats beside this gate are the deepest at around 20ft and carved vertically through the sandstone. A drawbridge would have existed here and this gate was one of the main entrances to the village.

  Step 3: Head in and get ready for some beaut architecture everywhere you look!

  Step 4: Every side street provides a feast for the eyes

  Step 5: We loved this building covered in plants 🌱. Take a left under the arch.
