  Step 1: You can park in the car park of the St Mary's Church in Pakenham.

• 

  Step 2: Walk north through the graveyard. Use the kissing gate to cross into the field. Keep right and head to the next gate.

• 

  Step 3: Follow the public footpath as you cross through this private estate heading for Pakenham Wood.

• 

  Step 4: As you enter the wood you can either head straight through, alternative take the first left and you can do a bit of a loop around the wood.

• 

  Step 5: The track runs along the edge of the wood for 1/3 of a mile.

• 

  Step 6: As you reach the end of the wood take the right track into the genially rolling farmland.
