• Step 1: If travelling by public transport, the 86 bus will take you from Coventry to Wolston. Alight at St Margaret’s Avenue.

• 

  Step 2: Start at St Margaret’s Church, Wolston. Inside this Norman church you can find a fourteenth century font and a sheela-na-gig carving.

• Step 3: From the church, head up Main Street into Wolston, then turn left onto School Street

• 

  Step 4: Then right onto Coalpit Lane.

• 

  Step 5: Walk along Coalpit lane, straight ahead across the crossroads, then turn left when you reach a waymarked stile.

• 

  Step 6: Cross the field to the stile by the lone tree.
