Lochan Spling, Aberfoyle

Walk preview

1. Step 1: Start in the Riverside Car park behind Visit Scotland’s Aberfoyle iCentre and head to Manse Road.

2. 

   Step 2: Manse Road is to the right of the car park if the river is in front of you. Cross this stone humpback bridge.

3. 

   Step 3: Follow the road until you see this uphill turning to the right (by postbox). Turn right to follow this track.

4. 

   Step 4: Keep following this track uphill until you reach a wider area. You could park here to shorten the route if you’d like.

5. 

   Step 5: Turn right along the path and you’ll reach these gorgeous views across Lochan Spling

6. 

   Step 6: Keep heading along the track next to the lock and enjoy the tranquility and the sculptures
