  Step 1: There is a large car park with plenty of information and a children’s play area at the start

• 

  Step 2: The route will take you right around the lake

• 

  Step 3: It is a pleasant walk although watch out for flies and biting insects in summer

• 

  Step 4: Much of the walk has wooden paths or gravel over the boggy bits so it’s fine for prams or wheelchairs

• 

  Step 5: Ok, there isn’t much to look at apart from the lake if you take the circular path

• 

  Step 6: It’s a very pretty lake though
