Step 1: Hop off the tram at Shalesmoor, and you’ll see The Grade II listed Globe Works just over the road...
Step 2: The Globe Works were built in 1825 & is one of England’s oldest surviving cutlery & tool factories. It was once the home of a company called Ibbotson & Roebank, but now used as offices & studios.
Step 3: Opposite is the only surviving remnant of the Don Brewery which was demolished in 1994.
