• 

  Step 1: Park at Wheal Kitty car park and walk back out of the entrance. Then turn left.

• 

  Step 2: Follow the steep road down to Trevellas for about half a mile.

• 

  Step 3: At the bottom of the hill there is a hairpin bend and this sign post for the cliff path. Follow the road.

• 

  Step 4: After the hairpin bend you’ll get to the sign for Blue Hills Tin Mine. Take the public footpath signed to Barkla Shop.

• 

  Step 5: On your left is a wonderful old engine house.

• 

  Step 6: Follow the footpath which runs to the side of Blue Hills Tin Mine.
