• Step 1: Thames Path - Due to the closure of Temple Bridge we walked the Marlow Bridge to Temple Bridge section, & back separately. This walk starts after the Temple Bridge Diversion, at Hurley Lock, & ends at Marsh Weir, the next closure.

• Step 2: We parked near our end point at Tesco, booking parking for the day for £6.29. We then took a taxi to Hurley, dropping us off at the holiday park on Mill Lane. Walk down Mill Lane, forking left to get to the river.

  Step 3: At the end of the single track road you’ll come to a fenced path way. Enter this passage.

  Step 4: You’ll spot the river on your right. A quiet and small marina.

• 

  Step 5: You’ll hear the river rushing over a weir. The path opens to the lock side. Cross the lock using the lock gate bridge if it’s closed.

• 

  Step 6: Take a left off the bridge/lock gate and you’ll find a toilet block just before the next bridge. Right is back to the closed Temple Bridge.
