• 

  Step 1: This walk starts at The Henfield Tea Gardens on the High Street in Henfield. The high street is well served by local buses.

• 

  Step 2: Cross over High Street towards the green sign as we head Henfield common.

• 

  Step 3: Take the alleyway ahead.

• 

  Step 4: The alleyway leads out onto a residential road. Cross safely and make your way towards the common.

• 

  Step 5: Cross over the next residential road (usually no through traffic) and follow the well trodden footpath ahead.

• 

  Step 6: Continue ahead across the common with the A281 to your right hand side, keep following the path until the wooded area.
