Walk preview

1. 

   Step 1: The walk begins at the Woodland Trust's Glen Finglas visitor centre.

2. 

   Step 2: Go into the visitor centre to learn more about the estate, pick up a free leaflet containing a trail map, or just to escape the rain!

3. 

   Step 3: When you're ready to get going, walk down through the car park to reach a wooden bridge over a stream, located next to an information board.

4. 

   Step 4: On the far side of the wooden bridge, pass through a gate and follow the path to your left, going uphill. Don't forget to close the gate!

5. 

   Step 5: Follow the path uphill, weaving through a patch of woodland.

6. 

   Step 6: During spring and early summer, the woodland brims with the sight and smell of bluebells.
