• Step 1: Welcome to this jaunt around Framlingham Mere, taking in Framlingham Castle & College. You can begin your walk here on Market Hill, as you’ll find public transport hubs & parking here too.

• 

  Step 2: Framlingham has been a market town since 1285 & there is still a market here every Tuesday & Saturday.

• Step 3: A range of items are sold at the market including locally grown produce & meats, artisan stonewares, crafts, clothing & seasonal flowers. Plus fudge, cupcakes & waffles for those with a sweet tooth.

• 

  Step 4: On your right is the Crown Hotel. A restaurant & hotel full of character. A very popular spot of a weekend. Continue towards Church Street.

  Step 5: The Dancing Goat Café, on your left, was voted Coffee Shop of the Year in 2018. It serves wonderful homemade food.

• 

  Step 6: If you need to use the bathroom there are free public toilets on Crown & Anchor Lane.
