  Step 1: Welcome to the National Trust’s Formby. The nearest Merseyrail station is ‘Freshfield’ which is easily accessible.

• 

  Step 2: There’s somewhere to park your bike too. The Lifeboat Road car park is free for NT members or £9. Postcode: L37 2EB.

• Step 3: Please note that Formby is a beautiful and wild natural conservation area. The car park can get busy. Don’t light any fires including BBQ’s, check tide times and take your litter home. For more info tap ‘Read More’ below. 👇

  Step 4: Ready for a beach walk? This walk starts at the #boatbench

• 

  Step 5: Follow the path to the right of the boat bench, near the pay and display machine.

• 

  Step 6: Head across the sand, beside the sand dune shrubs.
