  Step 1: We parked up next to this gate, there is enough space for a couple of cars.

• 

  Step 2: Right next to the car is this tree with a swing that goes into a deep swimming pool in a slow moving section of the north Tyne.

• 

  Step 3: Too cold for a dip today so we go through the gate and follow the cut grass path along side the river.

• 

  Step 4: A look back down the river you can see the bridge over to Walk village.

• 

  Step 5: Carrying on along the path there are lots of spots to sit down and admire the stunning surroundings.

• 

  Step 6: No stopping yet, we carry on towards the island.
