• 

  Step 1: Start outside the Rose & Crown pub. Please note it’s no longer open. Head towards Mynydd Meio Common.

• 

  Step 2: You should be walking past the pub on your right and heading towards a gentle slope.

• 

  Step 3: At the fork in the road take the road on the left to continue your route towards the common.

• 

  Step 4: You’ll see a cattle grid that marks the start of the common.

• 

  Step 5: Immediately after passing the cattle grid you’ll see the remains of the TB hospital on the left.

• 

  Step 6: As you continue along the road you'll have stunning views of Pontypridd, Taffs Well and Cardiff.
