  Step 1: We followed directions to Nigg then drove a little further where we found a place to park in a levelled area which accessed the beach.

• 

  Step 2: We walked West first (until we got the the old ferry jetty) and then turned back to retraced our footsteps in the direction of the car.

  Step 5: We headed back towards the car and up the road - very steep. We found this circular footpath - perfect for taking in views of Cromarty Firth
