• Step 1: Cricklade is served by buses via Swindon or Cheltenham but Ashton Keynes only has one bus a day, so taxis may be needed. Parking in Ashton Keynes is possible on the High Rd near the playing fields.

• 

  Step 2: Arrive I’m on Cricklade High street. There are shops and cafes to pick up supplies.

• 

  Step 3: Head north up the High St. away from the shops.

• 

  Step 4: You’ll pass a Catholic Church on the left and a pub across the road on the right.

• 

  Step 5: Turn left onto North Rd. The road straight ahead crosses the river. A little downstream the River Churn flows into the Thames.

• 

  Step 6: Part way down North Rd you’ll see the path signposted on the right.
