Chantries to Newlands Corner

Walk preview

1. Step 1: Your walk begins here at the Chantries car park. If you’re arriving by public transport, the nearest bus stop is on Pilgrims Way. Buses to and from Guildford stop here.

2. Step 2: Take the right hand fork at the sign post. Keep straight on up the path ahead. Do not turn left.

3. 

   Step 3: Continue straight ahead.

4. 

   Step 4: Follow the path until it opens onto a road. Go past the gate to the field and turn left onto the path across the field on your left

5. 

   Step 5: Keeping left as you pass through the posts. Be careful of the barbed wire here.

6. 

   Step 6: Carry on up the path. There is a steep incline here.
