• 

  Step 1: Start at Carbis Bay station, just one stop outside St Ives, a good excuse to get off the train and walk the rest of the way along the coast

• 

  Step 2: Up the slope and take a left at the top through the car park to join the costal walk

• 

  Step 3: Over this little bridge and turn left down the hill, keep to the pavement along the road until you reach the coastal path.

• 

  Step 4: These steps lead down to the beach and more coastal paths leading away from St Ives. A walk for another day!

• 

  Step 5: At the bottom of the hill, after passing a car park on your right, walk past the Carbis Bay Hotel and look out for the coastal path ahead.

• 

  Step 6: Up these steps and you’re on the right path going towards St Ives.
