  Step 1: Park at the Strid wood tearoom at the top end of the Bolton Abbey site. Walk down and follow the path.

  Step 2: Keep left and follow signs to Barden Bridge.

  Step 4: Take the steps to the left and turn right across the bridge. Follow the path right over the bridge back down the river.

  Step 5: Follow the path and enjoy the stunning scenery for a mile and a half.
