Step 1: There is a small car park for Branslands Woods near the small village of Bletchingley, Redhill (post code: RH1 4NJ). This woodland area is managed and owned by the National Trust. Please note there are no facilities on site.
Step 2: This is a short walk, great for little legs. Please watch your step as the footpath is quite uneven and will be muddy in winter. Dogs welcome under control. In Spring, there may be groundnesting birds so stick to the paths.
Step 3: Notice the pond at the start of the walk, near the car park. It’s easy to miss unless you head towards it/know it’s there. We saw frogs!
Step 4: Take the wide path on the left hand side and continue ahead.
Step 5: In summer this is a great place to hide from the heat and enjoy some natural air conditioning.
Step 6: There are a great variety of trees here including many pretty firs and evergreens. Don’t forget to look up and look out.
