• 

  Step 1: Start at the North end of Bedford Town Bridge (The Embankment side) and admire the Boer War Statue across the road. The cross the bridge.

• 

  Step 2: Keep walking across the bridge until you reach it's end.

• 

  Step 3: If you're lucky you'll see several swans swimming across the river.

• 

  Step 4: Just before you reach the Mercure Hotel, take a sharp left so that you can descend down to the river.

• 

  Step 5: Keep walking with the Riverside Bar & Venue on your right. If you turn around you'll see another view of the Bedford Town Bridge you crossed

• 

  Step 6: Keep walking and admire the far away view of Bedford Castle Mound in the distance.
