  Step 1: Your walk begins here at Althorne. There are trains to & from this station from Burnham, Southminster and Wickford.

• 

  Step 2: You’ll soon come to the railway crossing. Please look and listen out for the signals to show that a train is approaching. Cross quickly.

• 

  Step 3: Continue along Station Road.

• 

  Step 4: The lane soon turns into Bridgemarsh Lane.

• 

  Step 5: You’ll then arrive at the Marina. Take the steps up to join the sea wall.

• 

  Step 6: You’ll notice human activity ahead of you. Boats, buildings and a few more dog walkers.
