How points work

Every time you hit your daily step goal, you earn points for your city. Complete a full week and you’ll bag extra points. Whatever your tier, 1,000, 3,000 or 5,000, every goal hit counts the same. It’s not about how far you go, it’s about showing up. Bonus points are awarded for completing any of the bonus badges too, and hitting them more than once means more points.

The city with the most points at the end of the challenge wins the City Prize. Individual prizes work differently. They’re not based on points, they’re based on how many daily and weekly badges you personally unlock. The more consistently you hit your goals, the better your chances of winning Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze. See more below.

Competition Terms and Conditions

  • You must be a resident in either Liverpool City Combined Authority Region or Birmingham City Council region to be eligible to win the weekly and end of challenge prizes.
  • Winners may be asked to provide proof of address before a prize is issued, to confirm eligibility for their chosen city region. If proof cannot be provided or does not match, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
  • To meet the entirety of the entry requirements you must be an active participant in the This City Moves challenge on the Go Jauntly app.
  • You must submit your true postcode as part of your sign up to the challenge in the Go Jauntly app.
  • For the avoidance of any doubt, you will be automatically enrolled to the prize draw by signing up to the challenge and providing your accurate postcode.
  • Employees, contractors and any individual directly involved in the delivery or administration of the This City Moves challenge are not eligible to win a prize.
  • The competition period will run between 7th September 2026 to 18th October 2026.
  • There will be 19 individual prizes: one Platinum prize of a £500 National Trust voucher awarded to a participant from the winning city region, plus 18 One4All gift card prizes — four Gold prizes of £200 (two winners per city region), six Silver prizes of £100 (three winners per city region) and eight Bronze prizes of £50 (four winners per city region). In addition, there are 12 weekly spot reward prizes of a Go Jauntly Premium subscription, one winner per city region each week for the six weeks of the challenge, drawn from participants who unlocked that week's weekly badge.
  • Individual prize eligibility is based on badges unlocked, not total steps. Platinum and Gold require every daily and weekly badge to be unlocked across all six weeks. Silver requires every weekly badge to be unlocked across all six weeks. Bronze requires at least 4 of the 6 weekly badges to be unlocked. Weekly spot rewards are drawn from everyone who unlocked that week's weekly badge.
  • The Platinum prize (National Trust voucher) has its own terms: the winner must be 18 or over, and is not eligible if they are an employee or volunteer of the National Trust, or their partner or immediate family. The voucher can be used across National Trust membership, holiday stays, cafés and gift shops. Holiday stays are subject to availability, can be browsed at nationaltrust.org.uk/holidays, and must be booked by 30 November 2027. Full holiday booking terms apply, available at nationaltrust.org.uk/features/holiday-cottage-bunkhouse-and-bothy-terms-and-conditions. No cash alternative will be given and the voucher is not transferable.
  • If you win the Platinum prize, we will ask for your consent to share your name, address, phone number and email address with the National Trust, so they can set you up in their booking system and issue your prize. If consent is not given, we will select an alternative winner from the eligible entrants.
  • Each prize winner will be selected from a random generator of the participants who meet the eligibility criteria for that prize tier, as set out above. Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and weekly spot reward winners will be contacted on or around 2nd November 2026.
  • We will email the prize winners using the email address used for signing up to Go Jauntly. We will make up to 3 attempts to contact the winner over a period of 14 days via email. If we get no response from the winners we will choose another randomly generated eligible participant.
